Ambitious engineer with mechanical experience in the installation and operation of general web-based coating, slitting and converting equipment.

Familiar with electrical and mechanical aspects of equipment.

|
Duties and Responsibilities:
|
|
1. Manufacturing project management
-
Plan, conduct and oversee engineering projects, including defining the scope, activities, milestones, and requirements in accordance with the business specifications
-
Provide reports on status of project milestones and adjust schedules accordingly
-
Control expenditures within limitations and detailed drawings.
-
Prepare project layout and drawings using Auto Cad.
-
Size component and design assemblies to release to designers and drafters to detail and finish. Coordinate project work
-
Provide technical service in the design, development, specification, installation, startup and on-going operation of coating / slitting / converting process equipment.

Manage capital project and expensed projects, including justification, authorization and expenditure of on-site management of employee and contractor project personnel, acceptance of purchased, installed or repaired equipment and turnover of completed project package to project owner (production, etc).

Lead and/ or facilitate multi-functional teams for equipment and technology improvement, safety and Process Safety reviews.
2. Facilities project management
-
Maintenance (daily and preventive) for all manufacturing equipment, including: coating / drying / laminating / UV & IR curing lines, slitting and winding machines, shop floor equipment, utilities, general building and facilities maintenance.

Supplier contacts / purchasing of equipment / maintenance related items including repair and / or new installations.

Cost control / negotiation with utilities for all buildings

Oversee building and grounds maintenance

Qualifications:
|
-
BS Mechanical / Electrical / Manufacturing Engineer
-
5-10 years experience in Industrial / process-based operation
-
Knowledge of motors, HVAC, PLC, Safety, Machining, CAD
|
|
