Mission
Chemsultants International, Inc. has for the past 4 years been involved in the development and commercialization of PEMFC materials and components for the emerging Fuel Cell Industry. Our focus is the development of novel polymer-based products and new manufacturing processes compatible with our goal of being recognized as a world-class supplier of commercially viable fuel cell components.
Experience
With an established group of scientists and engineers on staff, we have over 20 years of experience in the development and formulation of high performance polymer materials and products. Our staff includes experts in the areas of polymer research, formula development, polymer film casting and coating applications, process development and product commercialization.

2005 / 2006 Ohio Third Frontier Fuel Cell Program Grant for Gas Diffusion Layer collaborating with GrafTech International

2006 / 2007 EMTEC Grant for multi-layer, self-hydrating polymer membrane development, collaborating with Case Western Reserve University

2006 / 2007 Department of Energy Grant for high temperature / low humidity membrane development, collaborating with Michigan Molecular Institute
Partnerships
Strong working relationships with fuel cell technology research teams at NASA Glenn RC, Wright-Patterson AFRL, Case Western Reserve University, GrafTech International and Michigan Molecular Institute form the basis for Chemsultants extended range of capabilities including polymer synthesis, analysis and testing of individual membranes and MEAs, and functional evaluation of half cell stack assemblies.
