40th Anniversary
The year was 1986...
"Top Gun" was number one at the box office
Ronald Reagan was the President of the United States
Big hair was all the rage for girls AND guys
The internet as we know it didn't exist
And it was the year that Dick Muny incorporated
Chemsultants International Network Inc.
Dick's new venture started slowly by teaching clients how to set up Q.A. departments, as well as formulating and testing of pressure sensitive adhesives and products for them. He also set up a consultant network with many of his colleagues in the field. In his first year, he traveled as far as Spain to help solve a client problem, negotiated an endorsement from the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council and was ready to build a new, larger facility. By years end, Chemsultants included consulting, adhesive testing and testing equipment.
40 Years Later...Keith Muny (Dick's son) is leading the new generation of Chemsultants Intl. Inc, which is housed in a 38,000 sq ft facility in Mentor, Ohio, and has a sister company, ChemInstruments Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio, that designs and manufactures adhesive testing equipment. |
